VC_Prep for Math Kangaroo Olympiad 1/2

There are many students who are doing well in math at their schools, yet do not succeed in Math Olympiads. This is often an unpleasant surprise and one asks, How could that happen? The answer is simple: students are not exposed to these kinds of problems in their math lessons and do not know how to approach Olympiad word problems. To prepare for Kangaroo we are offering a crash course of 7 lessons to expose children to some of the problems they might encounter in an Olympiad. Kids will learn ways to approach these problems, and be more confident about trying to solve them. We strongly believe that every kid will benefit by being exposed to these clever and challenging problems.Learning how to solve a problem and to understand its underlying mathematical concepts are the most important goals of mathematics education.
